  • I suggest you speak to your Pharmacist. They may have some suggestions of what natural products you can use. Some shampoos and skin products have chemicals that can cause aggravation.

  • It’s probably not a cure, but maybe massaging olive oil into your scalp regularly might help. Leave on overnight if possible and wash out the next day

  • There is a coconut cream available at chemist specific for scalp I bought some but haven’t used yet

  • We use Redwin Coal Tar shampoo,

  • I have a friend who swears by this – changed all the bathroom tap filters to filter out most/all additives this alone calmed down the psoriasis and eczema. Moisturise using Moo Goo. No soap or shampoos.

  • I have found the MooGoo scalp cream used with their shampoo and conditioner very effective.

  • Try find what flares it, I have to cut dairy when I get it and it seems to work well.

  • My mum suffers from it in the hair and she did the whole not wash the hair until natural oils come back then only washes with a cheap conditioner and it has settled her psoriasis in her scalp basically to no psoriasis now. Her psoriasis in her scalp was pretty bad and she swears by it. She won’t shampoo her hair now just conditioner. Also she found using liquid soap to work on her elbows and knees as well instead of cake of soap.

  • You need to find the cause, I have read a book by Anthony Williams “Liver Rescue” where he explains that skin issues are related to an unhealthy liver. A change of diet is very helpful, but see if your local library has the book and have a read it is really a life changing book. Start having lemon juice every morning on waking up for starters and have celery juice on an empty stomach every day if you can.

  • Lush’s “soak and float” shampoo bar might help – and it’s not expensive.

  • I’ve just started using the delorenzo tricho range. It’s making a huge difference, and I feel like I’ve tried about everything on the market.
