I’m very cautious with skin care preparations as I usually end up with eczema and then take months of prescription medication to alleviate the symptoms.

  • Spot on with the answer directly below. There are specific brands designed for people with skin conditions like yours. It’s just a matter of trying them to find which one works best for you

  • In your case I would purchase skincare from a pharmacy such as Priceline or Chest Warehouse as they have heaps of brands that are suitable for sensitive skin such as QV, Dermaveen etc ..There are also lots of good organic ones such as Sukin, Trilogy etc , where they use herbal ingredients instead. To be safe , talk to the pharmacist and I am sure he can help you pick the right one .

  • Thanks Mom94125, I’ll look out for it.

  • “physiogel” is avail in the pharmacy. please look at it if you can. sooo good for sensitive skin esp’ if your children have skin conditions, this is really suitable. it sounds like muscle or sport cream but the name is deceiving. lol. works wonders!

  • Thanks Mom93281. That’s exactly what I’m doing, but would love to try something new now and again, but just not game.

  • I would go with one recommended by a dermatologist for your skin type.

  • I definately recommend using Dermaveen or another moisturiser that contains no scent. I have used Dervaveen on my sons eczema for over a year and it doesn’t irritate his skin, relieves the itch and moisturisers the skin
