Hello!

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has any recipes they can share for meals I can make for dinner.

I get so sick of cooking the same thing each week.
Shepherds pie, meatloaf, chops, sausages, mince.

Some ideas or some recipes I could try out at home with the family would be awesome.

Thanks

  • I don’t have much time to cook these days with being back at work so I go for the jars of Kan Tong or Maggi sachets of beef stroganoff or cheese cauliflower.
Chuck in some frozen veg with the kan tong jars, cook some rice and you’re done!

  • If you want something that is organised for you and requires minimal thinking, have you considered one of the health programs like Michelle Bridges, I quit sugar or Pete Evan’s paleo? They are organised with a shopping list and meal plans. I found them useful to try cooking different things I normally wouldn’t have though to try.

  • Look at the recipe section or otherwise there are great websites for inspiration like taste.com bbcfood etc.

  • Take a look at the recipes section on this site and maybe set yourself a challenge to try a dish from each sub section in the recipes section. There are some wonderful and tasty recipes. Give them a go and you may find some new favourites?

  • Give a look at all the amazing recipes in this comm. We eat rice at least once a week, a lot of pulses (chickpeas are my favourite) quinoa, pasta, vegetable quiches, soups, quorn. Chicken is my favourite meat. Have you ever tried a chicken and leek pie? Then salmon, pizza sometimes in the weekend. I use a lot of sweet potatoes too.
