  • It’s all about buying products that are suited to your skin type. From what you say, I’m thinking you have a combination skin type. If you buy cleanser and moisturiser for combination skin, you should hopefully see an improvement

  • I’d speak to a pharmacist for recommendations.

  • Find a moisturiser to suit your skin type. Sounds like you need one that’s good for dry and oily skin, you can get one that combines the 2 skin types. I know how you feel having dodgey skin. I’m still fighting severe acne at age 48

  • Work out where you need mpisture and put cream on that area alone. Leave oily patches.

  • combination facial claenser, toner and moisturizer. there are also these oil soaker sheets that you can dab on to soak up the excess oil and it works with make-up also. sometimes make-up starts going oily through the day or you get sweaty

  • I would love to know too, will be reading through comments. thanks for a good question.

  • Try going to a skin dr they should be able to help.

  • This is a bit serious skin problem. I recommend consultation with beautician or skin doctor first.

  • there are some gently creams that help with tzone oilyness

  • Make sure you are drinking enough water! You can also try products made especially for combination skin.

  • I’d recommend trying Rubifresh skincare products. They’re made by an Aussie company, and if you contact the owner (Tristan), she’ll be happy to give you all the advice you need. She’ll probably be able to send you some samples as well, so you can try before you buy. All their stuff is organic, and it’s done wonders for my skin.

  • Water, water, water and exfoliate. They solve most skin problems. Otherwise see your dermatologist for a specialist routine.

  • You could try drinking more water, it will help keep your skin more consistent at least

  • there are some good comments here
