So I’m 19 weeks today but for the past month (4 weeks and 6 days) I’ve been bleeding every single day, and not just bleeding, passing huge clots some bigger then my hand. And after a month of non stop bleeding, clot passing and cramping my doctors have absolutely no explanation for why this is happening. I’ve had 4 ultrasounds(1 every week) both on the stomach and vaginal ultrasounds. I’ve seen at least 5 different doctors with no explanation at all from any of them.. I’m so tired of my doctors telling me “not too worry because my baby is okay” like I’m glad my baby is okay, but passing huge thick blood clots, super heavy nonstop bleeding for the past month.. I’m honestly losing my mind.. has anything like this happened too anyone else.. please just help me get a piece of my sanity back I am going insane with dread and worry.

Ask your question

  • Please go and see your doctor or call nurse on call

  • Poor you – of course it is scary and worrying and keep on getting all the reassurance and answers you are seeking and need from your GP and medical professionals.

  • Scary time for you momma. Hope you find the answer soon

  • I haven’t experienced this, but if it were me I’d want an answer and would press my doctor to keep investigating just so that you can have some peace of mind. Also, if you’re losing a lot of blood I do a blood test to make sure you’re not deficient in anything like iron. I wish you and your baby all the best and hope you find answers.

  • I didn’t during pregnancy but did after the only way they stopped it was manual contractions of my uterus. Maybe something similar is happening but make sure they have done every investigation available because it’s great bub is healthy but you need to stay healthy too.
