Hello!

Is anyone a Scentsy consultant? Is it a good way to earn income and is it fun?

  • Not personally but I do know a couple of friends who do it and they seem to love it and I think they make quite good money from it.

  • I know people who have had great success with Scentsy and others not so much. I agree with the other ladies, you have to have passion for what you’re doing and persistence!

  • I’m not but my friend is and he earns a good income. Love scentsy

  • It is fun, if your friends and their friends are fun. It’s basically a party every time. I think it’s one of those things, once you’ve exhausted your friends list with Scentsy products, then you’re limited. Sure, you’ll get some coming back again and again, but you’ll always need to expand to new people to keep it going. They are wonderful products though

  • Another thing to consider with direct delling is how many people in your area already represent the company.

  • Thanks for all of the answers; helpful! :)

  • Do your homework first and read up on it all before hand. Is the product worthwhile and have you purchased from them before? Maybe contact someone who sells and can maybe run through it all with you. Theres loads of them on facebook that may be able to help. Good luck if you do decide to start selling :)

  • Good point FRUITWOOD! you should be passionate about a product.

  • With any direct selling/party plan business, you get out of it what you put in. I am an Avon rep & whilst it hasn’t been successful for many reps, others like myself have succeeded tremendoulsly & have very successful businesses. If you love the product that your selling, you’ll do well. If your only in it for the money and don’t have the drive to push a particular brand or product then chances are you won’t make an income from it. Pick a product that you love and go from there, you don’t have anything to lose by giving it a go. I know lots of Scentsy, Partylite etc reps who run very successful home businesses :) Good luck with your new venture.

  • this is a great question. i wondered that too. i know that a lot of americans really get into this program but not so many aussies
