Hello!

My daughter’s date of birth is 1st April and she is 4 and has started preschool. I’m just afraid that what if her classmates makes fun of her or she feels embarrassed? Did anyone come across this situation?

  • My mom’s date of birth is the 1st of April, she’s an identical twin and she and her twin sister used this date themselves to make many great jokes

  • I think she will be fine as long as she stands up for herself and her special birthday.

  • My sister was married in April and for some reason I always thought it was the 1st, must’ve been my private joke. And it was actually the 3rd. Close enough hey? I gave her heaps about it lol

  • No but alot of baby lambs are

  • You are so welcome and I am glad that Mom’s has helped! :)

  • The bonus of this day is that no one should forget your birthday! :)

  • thank you so much for your positive response love mums. now my thought has changed and i can imagine it as fun day. thanks to you all…

  • I have friends born in this date and they have never ever had any problems with being teased.

  • Maybe you could re-frame it into something special. A day where everyone is looking to have fun. :-)

  • My friend is born April 1st and doesn’t have any issues with it.
If they are going to prank her than at least they will remember her birthday.

  • Hubby is a new year’s baby and im a end of financial year baby, if anyone tries to give her grief just remind her that people should remember her birthday more easily

  • my daughter is 9 and was born 1 April we have never had a problem she always tells people her birthday is April fools day. kids don’t seem to do the hole April fools as much anymore.

  • It’s a fun day, isn’t it?

  • My Dad was born on March 31. Even if he was born on 1 April, I wouldn’t think he’d be teased.

  • If her classmates are going to make fun of her they will find a reason it wont matter what date she is born on.
