Hello!

Is CoQ10 supposed to be beneficial for people taking statins, it is found in every cell in the body. Some experts advocate it’s use and others don’t, do you have any experience with it?

  • I’ve never used it and don’t see the need

  • Nivea has a Q10 plus skincream . Not sure if it is the same thing .

  • CoQ10 may be beneficial to those suffering from the aches, pains and general fatigue that can be experienced when using a statin. Some athletes also take CoQ10. It is a bit like other over the counter supplements – what works for some may not work for others. I will ask a few more questions of people in the know, who have heard of its success. Let me gather more first hand information for you. When it first was advertised there were a lot of Drs recommending it for people who were experiencing the afore mentioned symptoms, but lately I’ve not heard much about it.

  • Wow, looks like you’ve asked a hard question to answer, there’s only one comment and it’s no answer……just a comment. I have to admit, I’ve never heard of it. But you’ve got me thinking. I’m off for a quick Google and will be back. I hope I can find you again

  • I find it hard to believe no one has answered or given an opinion on this topic seeing that CoQ10 is in every single cell of our bodies.
