Hello!

I brought a Ninja Slim for $89 as I couldn’t afford the bullet but we find strawberry seeds don’t get broken down. Does the bullet make the juice flow through a strainer? i.e. no lumps?

  • My kids friends have one and apparently it is good . I saw it at Big W last year on sale I think for $129.00 . I’d rather eat fresh fruit , not a fan on smoothies or fruities drinks .

  • My mum has just purchased a Nutribullet for juicing and she loves it. She had a normal juicer before but she says that this is just so much easier to use and to clean up.

  • They talk so much about the Nutribullet. But there are surely a lot of other products on the market that are as good and probably cheaper. Maybe around Christmas time there will be something new in the shops.

  • All promoters of own product talk it up. I’ve seen a nutribullet sit abandoned on friends bench for months! Good wholesome food we chew with out teeth is best, I think. We weren’t designed to have liquid diet!

  • We had a cheaper version and it lasted quite a while but eventually it died. I thought it was pretty good though.

  • I was using my mum’s NutriBullet at Xmas time and I wasn’t really all that fussed by it. The concept is brilliant but I found that it was no better than a regular blender or one of the cheaper alternatives on the market.
To answer your question, there is no strainer function in it so the strawberry seeds would remain a problem.

  • Out of interest; how much is a Nutribullet?

  • Yes, the Nutri bullet is very good we use it every morning and it goes through a strainer, just try not to blend dates, it doesn’t work!

  • I was looking at one of these too. I really want something that makes nut butters, as my food processor is on its way out. From all the research I have done, reviews I have read, people I have asked and youtube videos I have watched, if it doesn’t even break down strawberry seeds it certainly won’t do a nut butter. I am now saving for a Thermomix, unless someone knows of an appliance that does all the Thermo does without the price tag?

  • Great question….Following the answers to this one!

  • I know someone who is absolutely obsessed with it, but personally have had no experience with one. I’m looking into options as well, as I went to do some cooking the other day and my food processor of many years had died and the attachment bowl to my other stick mixer set that chops etc was broken when I dropped it. I just want something that does everything without the huge price tags of some of them. I think I might just go back to my sunbeam stick mixer set that comes with a jug to do smoothies and a chopper bowl to attach.

  • some of thne cheaper versions motors burn out and dont everything down as well i know people with a nutra bullet and it better than my bellini

  • I must admit to loving my blender; however I am interested to know the answer to this question too!

  • im interested to know if they are any good too.

  • Don’t waste your money in the end I saved and brought a really good blender, I have my bullet and gave it away
