  • Use soft fabric clothes and use any good good moisturisure as well

  • Has the pharmacist been able to recommend something?

  • Pintetasol bath or if it’s due to stress try to take some time to relax, have you changed washing powders do a double rinse for your clothes and towels change to a milder soap for clothes

  • I had something similar. I think for me it was just the skin stretching and getting itchy. I used a product called la bang body. It’s an oil that comes in a range of yummy scents and has coconut oil and a few other oils in it. It helped a lot with the itching. Also made my skin super soft and I didn’t get any stretch marks.

  • hello, there is a product that might help I use it every day as I have eczema so I know what it is like to have itchy skin. Try using Phisiohex wash. It might be a antibacterial wash but it helps me a lot. it costs $20 at the chemist for a big bottle

  • Sounds like pups. I had it with all my pregnancies. The only thing I used was aloe vera1w straight from the plant.

  • Hopefully this has eased for you by now. If not, get a second opinion!

  • I had horrible itching during pregnancy. My doctor did blood work to rule out anything sinister. Nothing would stop the itch. My doctor said it is normal for pregnant women to be more sensitive to allergies when pregnant. I did am elimination diet and found that if I ate less bread it helped

  • Seek another medical opinion!

  • It’s good to hear that you are now getting some relief. It might be worth having a look at any changes you can make around your home too :) Things like switching to a gentler, more natural clothes detergent, minimises uses of other chemicals ie fly sprays, detergents, anti bacterials etc. There are some great alternatives out there. Just an idea for making your home more irritant free :)

  • Try drinking celery juice and/or cucumber juice, also lemon juice first thing in the morning, just half a lemon or lime in glass a water. You need to keep hydrated. And take cold showers to stop yourself from getting hot or put feet in cold water (use ice from the fridge if you need to). I often get heat rash and it is so annoying, I have also heard that corn flour will stop it itching, but have not tried it, I spray with a spray bottle of water with some lavender, helps to cool it and calm it down.

  • i find when I get itchy all over it is actually that I’m too hot. Maybe try a cooling lotion or even a cold pack on a part of your body.

  • I wonder whether just a plain sensitive QV cream would do the trick?

  • thank you everyone for your input i have discussed this with my OB he said the blood work i did twice shows a great improvement with liver and other areas, the itching it getting better, he has also said that the hormones play a big part as well. looks like it must of been the baby having a growth spurt, i have gotten bigger in the belly area now. its been so hot that this weather is making it hard for me to breath a well. again thank you everyone its great to hear from other mums.

  • Try dabbing with tea tree oil.
