Hello!

I’m looking for somewhere nice to stay that is kid friendly in the south west of Australia. I have a 6 (7 in april) yr old boy and 2 (3 in june) bg twins. Thanks in advance.

  • Most holiday parks with cabins and/or caravans are great for families. They’re usually central and have things like playgrounds included

  • I think most 2-4 stars are family friendly and welcome kids. You just have to be careful of breakages etc, that would only be the concern otherwise you will have an extra bill at the end of your stay . Check hotels.com.au , that’s how we found a hotel in Adelaide .

  • We like the Big4 Holiday Parks. They’re Australia wide and great family friendly affordable accommodation

  • Good question; following the answers.

  • Caravan parks that are on the beach and have cabins, or a great pool. Most people forget that caravan parks have cabins, get one with an ensuite!

  • Albany – Big4 in Middleton Beach is fantastic. They have a toddler pool along with a big one, we enjoyed the mini movie theatre & they have campsites as well as cabins etc. Close by are some great attractions like Whale World museum, Mount Romance Sandalwood factory (which has free tours that are very enjoyable & you get a peek behind the scenes & discounts at the shop) and heaps more!

Margaret River – beautiful scenery, produce, wineries and the Margaret River Chocolate Factory (lots of free samples and you can watch and learn how chocolate is made). The Taunton Farm Holiday Park (Big4) is a farm stay themed park with options like feeding the animals for the kids, giant bouncy pillow etc.

  • there are some good comments here

  • Most of the holiday caravan parks are, go for the cabins in winter so you don’t have to put up tents and worry about the weather.

  • It depends where in WA you are thinking of. In Busselton there is a great place called Beachlands Resort it has; Splash and Play Zone with heated pool, toddler pool and water playground; giant jumping pillow; pedal karts; table tennis.

  • whereabouts in south western australia? With our kids we have found cabins at caravan parks family friendly and good for the budget too

  • most service apartments are kids friendly

  • Have you tried looking up TripAdvisor. Put in ‘kid friendly’ and you can read reviews and see pictures from actualvvisitors.
