  • Just good hygiene – like lots of hand washing – but you may be doomed no matter what you do.

  • White vinegar is my go-to to freshen up everything and it kills fungus and removes odours. It is cheap and cheerful and is the best solution to household germs and nasty odours.

  • You can’t prevent all germs from spreading but effective handwriting is the best way to reduce the spread of germs. Coughing and sneezing away from others. Blowing nose into a tissue and throwing it in the bin. I have taught my 4yo these things (and we still get sick).

  • Encourage good personal hygiene with your son at school. Regular hand and face washing etc. We wash their hands, faces and feet as soon as the girls get home too. Maybe give the bag a quick spray of Glen20

  • Just general hygiene would help the spread at home. Change clothes and bath time as soon as they get home should stop the germs in your house.

  • Goodluck, if you find any answers please pass them on

  • Hope you manage to find a solution

  • You can clean your home but unfortunately germs at kindy are part of childhood. Other than making sure your child washes their hands before eating and has good hygiene practices, there isn’t much more you can do.

  • Good hygiene as has been mentioned by everyone else but maybe keep your son home for a while so that he doesn’t catch it… Either that or have a word to the kindy.. Aren’t parents meant to keep their sick kids at home?

  • Sometimes it cant be helped other than washing hands and covering the mouth with the hand when coughing

  • Washing hands , using a tissue

  • Kids r unhygienic …. It can’t b helped. But getting sick builds an immunity

  • I think the best thing you can do is teach your kids good hygiene practices from a young age. Theres a good chance that sickness is going to strike probably every time something is going around until your son builds up his immune system, just try to keep your home clean and disinfected to reduce the spread of sickness germs.

  • Getting sick when they are young is a perfectly normal part of kids growing up and strengthening their immune defences. If it is just a common cold going around I would suggest just keeping up normal hygine practices (washing hands, etc) and if it happens, ride it out. If it is something more serious (like measles, chicken pox, etc) I would suggest keeping him at home for a couple of days to a week if kids are still going in while they have it.

  • All you have to do is set a good example by washing your hands in front of them with soap and encourage them good luck =}
