  • Turkey and ham-
Make them into meals with some veg for easy lunches, then pop in the freezer.

Freeze the desserts to, will be good for a couple of months.

  • Google Jamie Oliver, he does some amazing meals with Xmas leftovers. Wejust usually live on them til they’re gone, saves me cooking

  • We always have so much ham left-over,l use it in pasta, quiche, pizza and sandwiches!

  • Turkey goes well in white stews (add vegetables and milk/flour, onions etc.)… can use shreds as pizza toppings. Ham I tend to avoid depending how it is processed. Puddings and fruit cakes are often so calorie laden that they too are a big problem if you are thinking of eating them. Perhaps try and store and use slowly over the course of the year? or freeze?

  • Cold meats can be used to make rolls, sandwiches, toasted sandwiches are a favourite!
You could also make a casserole.

Pudding & fruit cake we never have left overs of so I am unsure on that one.

  • Cold meat….toasties, sandwiches, muffins, omelettes. Google it, there’s usually heaps of websites with ways to use up Xmas leftovers

  • Cake can be frozen in airtight containers, (whole or cut into sections). Fruit cake can be thawed and eaten cold or heated as a fruit pudding if you want a hot dessert. Fruit pudding can also be frozen and when thawed can also be eaten cold or heated.
Ham can be sliced and frozen – or you can prepare some for use as topping for pizza or use in quiche. Put go-betweens between slices so they separate easily. Best done in meal size packs. Pack in airtight containers, freezer bags or snap lock bags.
You can do the same with turkey – slice, dice or mince(if you have a mincer) and store the same as you go ham. Use it soon, It definitely loses taste if frozen for too long.

  • probably old question it is true, but Christmas in July best weather to do.Make turkey pie for later on. Ham quiche to freeze list can go on.As all can be frozen and stashed away for dinner or lunch another day. My son getting married last year, got three more new grandkids so instant family did lso appear

  • Left over Christmas ham began my love affair with carbonara pasta. Ham and turkey can be used on pizzas, in a quiche, in a green salad. I have no idea how to use up the pudding and fruit cake.

  • thanks guys…!! my leftovers were spread over quite a few days and still have some left over ham in the freezer!

  • Also; have a get together with family and friends and finish off the leftovers! :)

  • Turkey can be used in curries and rissoles.
Ham can be used on mini pizzas, pasta dishes and quiches.
Pudding can be used to make lots of sweet treats; plenty of good recipes in the recipes section.
I do not like waste and always use my leftovers too! Good Luck with your cooking! :)
