  • Only add fiber when you also increase water intake. I found that kiwi and soft pears help and stay away from banana

  • You can offer a very little orange juice freeshly squeezed

Or take few drops of olive oil and massage clockwise on stomach it works wonder

  • I know when my bub was going through a faze where he looked uncomfortable and he’s have a dirty nappy I would help move his feet and legs around just gently swaying back and forth and it used to help both farting ND pop hehe

  • Boil up some prunes and blend into a purée consistency. Give a little 1-2 times a day. I mix in with Greek yogurt and spread on toast it’s a win

  • I would first try home remedies like; exercise, a warm bath, dietary changes, hydration, massage, etc
When this fails you could buy something over the counter or pay a visit to the Gp

  • More hydration, prunes etc

  • I boiled up a big bag of prunes with lots of water, purée then and freeze then in ice cube trays, I gave two cubes a day to my kids in their cereal or yoghurt. It helped keep them regular!

  • The Ps pear and prunes and avoid banana and carrots

  • I found when my girls were little I would put a pinch of brown sugar in some water and let them drink that and that seemed to help. I don’t know if it is an actual thing but my SIL told me to try it and it seemed to work!

  • I hate to say this, but I had to shove this capsule thing from the chemist up my babies bum when he was constipated for too long. doctor pretty much told us we had to do it as a last resort as the kid refused to drink prune juice or anything we gave him

  • I always made water luke warm as a drink, That helped my boy who was always constipated. Also made him do bicycles with his legs.

  • I give my daughter Watermelon, pear or Coloxyl drops for babies. The Coloxyl you can get over the counter at the pharmacy so if all else fails, try that.

  • Dulcolax

  • Not all babies will drink prune juice. I know one Mum who cooked and pureed some pears.
You can also give diluted Orange Juice but not close to giving your baby milk (breast or formula) as it curdles the milk and baby is like to vomit juice and milk up. You used to be able to buy special baby juices in a bottle that you took off the lid and put on milk bottle top and teat. I haven’t seen it around for awhile.

  • The prune juice is amazing indeed. Another thing you could try is boiling two cups of water with one tablespoon of oats for twenty minutes. Then filter the water, let it cool, and give 30 ml two/three times a day. That is what the pediatrician told me to do with my daughter.
