Hello!

I moisturise my legs every couple of days, which helps but not a great deal. Do you get rashes in wintertime? How do you deal with it?

  • If moisturising your legs every couple of days helps ease the issue, why don’t you do it every day to see if it might fix it

  • No, I don’t exoerience this myself. If your moisturiser helps a little bit, maybe it’s just a case of changing your moisturiser to a more intesive one. Or maybe use it more often then you are

  • i try to keep moisturised to avoid that as i hate being itchy and stuff.

  • QV Products are good for washing yourself as they are soap free. Hospitals and Aged Care Facilties use it all the time. Most soaps contain caustic soda which which dries and irritates your skin. Another suitable product is Cetaphil. It is soap free and fragrance free. Both are suitable for all ages. It cleared up my eczema, something some of the products had no effect on didn’t. The best one I had disappeared off the shelves because the company closed.

  • Yes I do occasionally, and it’s mostly when my skin is extremely dry. When I get out of the shower I put an intense moisturiser on. You could also try using a body wash that has extra moisture in it.

  • My skin would get psoriasis a lot in winter on my knees & elbows,my gran bought me some goats milk soap,it cleared it up,it only cost a couple of dollars.

  • I use qv skincare – its great for the kids for eczema and dry skin and me as well!

  • I use a moisturising wash In the shower for extra dry or sensitive skin. I switch to a thicker moisturizer in winter. I use Nivea moisturizer and lather it on of a night before I go to bed.
