  • Seeing as though you probably breastfeeding and it’s due to your baby sucking nutrients from you as they grow it will stop but eating as healthy as you can can maybe boost your body or you could also try hair, skin and nails vitamins or just relax more

  • For me it was stress and then it was my thyroid

  • It is normal to loose hair after having a baby. In the normal cycle of hair growth, some hair is lost every day. But during pregnancy the increased levels of estrogen in your body freezes hair in the growing (or “resting”) phase of the cycle. Hair that would normally fall out stays put, resulting in thicker hair. After you give birth and your estrogen levels decline, however, all that hair that was resting starts to fall out. This usually starts the third or fourth postpartum and ends by six months,

  • I couldn’t stop mine. I just did lost of hair treatments to protect what was left! It stopped at around 6 months – baby is 10 months now and my hair is getting fuller and thicker.

  • Also; chatting with your local pharmacist at the pharmacy can help – they may even have helpful brochures?

  • I agree with the other comment about seeing a GP – hair loss can be for many reasons and they should be able to help with identifying the reason and give you support.

  • I would head to the doctor and request blood tests. Your body may be lacking some nutrition after pregnancy
