Hello!

I’d like some opinions from other mums as to whether they use theirs and which would be a good quality one to try. Thanks.

  • My mum uses one and loves it. It frightens me though, especially when all the steam comes out.

  • I bought an expensive one at Harris Scarfe had nothing but trouble they exchanged it 3 times in 4 months but all had the issue eventually I got a refund I bought one at the reject shop for $50 all the same functions and it’s been fantastic at 1/6 of the price …..admittedly I use my slow cooker more

  • I have a really cheap one and it’s fantastic, makes beautiful food

  • I have the Philips All-in-One Cooker with Pressure cooking function. I love it. It’s perfect for cooking rice and pulses!

  • I wish I had a pressure cooker. There’s so many things to cook in one and it’s so quick, but everything is so tender. I only have a slow cooker, which is pretty good too. I would love one of those 3 in 1, pressure cooker, slow cooker and sauté all in one. Just brilliant

  • Chefs toolbox pressure cookers are fantastic!!

  • I’m getting the hang of using mine now. Risotto in 7 mins after saute time and poached pears in 4 mins. Very easy. However, the slow cooker option doesn’t seem to work that well.

  • thats funny about the exploding thing ;)

  • my son in law is worried that it will explode!

  • they are all pretty much similar, and are great to slow cook with

  • i hardly use them, only when hubby is cooking he uses them

  • Most pressure cooker are good to use it. Just follow the instruction book. I’m not often use pressure cooker because my MiL worries the foods will be burn or explode.

  • I have a tefal cook for me, and OMG its the most tender meat that comes out, the sauces are quite thin that come out, but the meat and veg are to die for.

  • Modern pressure cookers have safety features to avoid this. The one I have bought cannot be opened unless the pressure is released so its safe.

  • My husband worries about pressure cookers as he thinks they will explode or something!
