  • I loved The Pinnacles and Waverock. Freemantle was nice too.

  • Albany and Bunbury are both coastal and really lovely little country towns to visit

  • Henley beach is a lovely place to visit.

  • Sadly, now is not a good time to visit some parts of WA. Lightning has triggered thousands of hectares destroyed by bushfires. Parts of them are out of control. People have been injured. Volunteers are working long hours. I think volunteers from other states may go over and relieve the local. Properties have been lost, stock killed or badly injured, there is a dire shortage of feed for animals that so far have survived. Some wildlife has been rescued (a volunteer ambulance officer rescued one tiny animal).

  • Busselton is lovely as is the Margaret River region. Albany is really beautiful with great beaches too.

  • Ningaloo reef is a must see, especially if you love snorkeling.

  • World class windsurfing spots and sandboarding in Geraldton, or visit the Abrolhos Islands, you can do scenic flights or eco-tours. About 30km from Geraldton is Coronation Beach, great for fishing and you can camp on the beach for $10 a night.
Albany has many beautiful and unique beaches. Little Beach is a great one, clear water and great views and close to a little lagoon you can snorkel in.

  • there are some good comments here

  • Kimberlys is also nice to visit.

  • What did you decide on in the end?

  • Me too – some really great suggestions to consider

  • Anywhere down south past Bunbury is awesome. Go down as far as Busselton and the world to wine, cheese, yoghurt, bread and nuts will open doors. This area has WA’s best beaches as well as the best food similar to the South of France. You’ll never forget it.

  • Have you booked your trip to WA?

  • Where did you end up deciding to go?

  • I haven’t been to WA yet, but its on my list. Would love to go to Broome.
