Ugh… I took my brand new, butter yellow, soft leather tote bag to work and the first thing I did was smear a black pen across the top. I searched google on how to remove it but I’m skeptical to try any of them. Does anyone know of a natural remedy that REALLY works?

  • My go would be W40 or Eucalyptus oil as well.

  • A good question as l noticed l have pen on my bag,will take note of the answers!



  • try wiping gently with eucalyptus oil. I have also heard that WD40 removes marks from pen on leather as well. Years ago I had cream leather lounge I used cream for use on hourses saddlesand remember did fantastic job



  • Deoderant.



  • I would try a cloth and eucalyptus spray



  • Was also going to use WD40 it works really well.



  • I used my bacterial wipes (nappy wipes should work too) and my bag looks nearly brand new – got out pen stains (pale pink bag) with no problem



  • I used baby wipes on my bag and it cleaned it really well



  • not sure. I too have lots of pen marks on my bag.. lol

  • alcohol works on leather, and even gumtion



  • Oh no! Hope you found something to remove it!



  • Try baby wipes! They remove everything, and should be gentle enough for leather
