Hello!

Hi. Does anyone have a soup maker that they love? What brand/model is it? Thanks

  • I use either a pot or my slow cooker. I’m not a fan of having a gadget for every single thing that gets done in the kitchen

  • Yep. It’s called a pot on the stove. Makes delicious soup. Or, if I’m time poor, the slow cooker is an excellent option too

  • Yep, it’s called a big pot on the stove. I love winter so I can get a pot of soup on the go. It’s such a versatile and delicious/nutritious meal

  • I use my favourite big old pot for soup making. Interested in the other answers too!

  • I must be old! My favorite soup making vessel is a lovely old thick bottomed pot!

  • I love thermomix, I know they are expensive but soooo worth it in the long run

  • I use a generic brand slow cooker to make soup. I find it so useful :D

  • I’ve heard the Kambrook one is brilliant and I’m hoping someone might get me one for my birthday!

  • have 2 soup makers the soup maker pro what a waste of money that was and a tefal that is great for 1 person

  • Never heard of one, sorry. I think a thermomix would do it if you wanted to be fancy. But a pot on the stove will do the same thing.

  • Yep! The Cuisinart Hot & Cold blender. It’s awesome! Every bit of the preparation is done in it. It sautés the onion, it boils the veggies and then it blends it all up. It’s a one stop soup shop! Best thing, is that the blade is soup-er (pardon the pun) sharp so it can also be used to crush ice for the odd alcky-holic beverage :-)

  • The Tefal Soup and Co is fantastic, I cannot recommend it enough. I need to new blender at the time anyway as I’d used my old one to death, so I figured it can’t hurt to get one that has a hot soup function as well. I read up on it online, and the reviews where glowing. It makes the smoothest and tastiest pumpkin soup I’ve ever had. I had won a $150 David Jones voucher and the blender was on sale at the time for $199 ( Normally $299) so I only had to fork out $49 for it! Bargain!!!

  • I do…I have an advancer but i cant tell you what its like as to be honest I havent used it yet. Its still quite warm here in QLD and im waiting for it to cool down a bit more but then I will be whipping up soups left and right…yummy

  • I didn’t even know you could get soup makers! I use a blender and a saucepan. Works fine for me.

  • My Thermomix. It is awesome and does wwwwaaaayyyyyy more then just soup and is super easy and quick
