I absolutely agree with you. Sport should be about ability. I’m not sure I understand what you mean about ducking up tho, where does this happen?

I totally agree. My daughter played netball for a while and a couple of the other players were friends with the coach. So they got more game time because of this, tgeÿ were second rate players

Yes, I agree . . . however in the real world, just like we all have seen during our working life, politics (sucking up) does play a big part.

It is not just sports. It seems now with the increase in social media, it depends on who is “friends” with whom. To be able to get anywhere in a lot of organisations you have to play the political popularity games. I refuse to, so I am hoping this will not affect her when she is older… There does not seem to be a lot you can do about it either.

All kids shoul have a chance to learn and play sports. Some may not be naturals straight away but should be given the chance to try.

yes definitely ability…except when they are very little, then just for fun and give everyone a chance to play
