Hello!

My hair is very dry and I have found a lot of oils make my hair heavy and lifeless. Is argan oil good for dry hair? Any other suggestions would be great.

  • I have dry hair and don’t use shampoo at all, I just rinse and use a good conditioner

  • Do a treatment once a week

  • Wash it way less than you currently are

  • Argan oil shampoo and conditioner followed by argan oil applied after washing. It helps me

  • Yes, Argan oil is good. So is Morrocan oil. You need to monitor how much you put in your hair. If you put too much, it will look greasey heavy and yuck

  • Argan oil based shampoo so it doesn’t go oily!
Some products can go to the other extreme!

  • I use a product called hair candy and it is amazing!

  • A little Argan oil goes a long way; use it sparingly.

  • try not washing it (Give good rinse) and just using conditioner. curly girls like me swear by it.

  • I also started on Moroccan oil after receiving a free sample.

  • Personally I love Moroccan oil

  • Moroccan oil solve my dry hair problem.

  • yes argan oil is great and really helps

  • Try giving your hair an olive oil or Mayo mask once a week. I used to do this before I became a mother and all my time disappeared!

  • I have incredibly dry hair, not helped by the fact that I colour it. I’ve found that John Frieda Clearshine Glaze & their Intense After-colour conditioner have both worked wonders for my hair, without weighing it down or leaving any yucky residue. I did try Argan Oil a couple of years ago, but it left my hair quite greasy, so it obviously doesn’t suit everyone.
