Hello!

What would you recommend to take as a travel pram. Mine is too heavy and bulky so looking for suggestions on a lightweight, compact, easy to use pram. Thanks.

  • People buy the you-beaut strollers yet i found the $35 stroller from kmart to be perfect…it folded up very slim and i could re open with one hand!!

  • I was wondering how old your child was? And where do you plan on travelling? The age and size of your child will affect what type of pram/ stroller is safest. If you’re travelling somewhere that might have cobbled stones or narrow footpaths, that should also impact on the type of travel pram/ stroller you get.

We bought a small $25 stroller from Target for our toddler when she was 15 months old. It’s small and light but doesn’t have the maneuverability, the storage and extras (like a rain cover, cup holder etc) that her big pram has.

    Good luck in your search!

  • I would go into a couple of shops selling prams and try them out. how well they fold, weight, flexibility to suit your needs etc and get the sales staff to help you ge the best for your needs.

  • I’d suggest shopping for a stroller that can also be laid down flat for sleeping. But of course only if your Bub is old enough to sit up.

  • I have the Steelcraft Holiday Layback Stroller which is comfy, it is lightweight and compact but about $120. I also have a $20 Zuzu stroller from Big W which isn’t as comfy but so easy to take away as it folds so small. Hope this helps.

  • you can check out babyzen yoyo stroller. it is so compact that it can even fit in the overhead compartment of airplane.

  • I’ve got the Jane Epic. Compact and lightweight it folds and unfolds easily and is really easy to handle. I’m really happy with mine and I highly recommend it :)

  • I bought a second hand cheap and light stroller. Don’t know if it even has a brand. I can lay him back a bit which helps with naps and I don’t mind if it gets destroyed. It works a treat. a bit like the chicco light stroller.

  • If you are looking for one just to get though a holiday not for perment use i would also check out the size of them to see if they are compact enough to fit in a suitcase.

  • really test them out at the store. Cheaper brands will be lightweight and simpler. i bought mine from big w and it is easy to use
