Hello!

My husband and I are finished with having children and we are looking at a permanent solution for birth control. Any advice as to whether I get my tubes done or whether my husband should go for a vasectomy? What are the pros/cons either way?

  • Yep, you’ve been through enough. His turn now

  • I think that it is much less invasive to do a vasetomy and also not as complicated

  • yeah seems to be easier for males to go through the procedure

  • Pro & Cons
I know a lady who also has 2 children, has a curved spine, chronic period cramps back and migraines at the same time and wanted her uterus removed as well. She is in her 30s and definitely doesn’t want to risk having another baby. Becuase she isn’t old enough according to the Dr. he refused. Now she still has to go through all the bad time with her period each time. On one occasion she was in some much pain her husband had to physically lift her up off the chair she was sitting on and support her until she literally fell into bed. Every time she tried to stand up she felt as though she was going to faint from the pain, and it wouldn’t have been the first time. She didn’t ask for her ovaries to be reomved becuase that way you go into menopause too soon and can have more problems than you otherwise would. That’s what she was initially advised by a Medical Professional. The choice is yours, it depends on your medical situation too.

  • I believe it’s the mans thing to do after we go through all the childbirth pain.

  • My mum got her tubes tied and she was very sick after.
I think it is an easier procedure if the male gets a vesectomy.

  • We’ve been having this same conversation and from all the advice I’ve been given the vasectomy is cheaper, easier on the man then it would be for you to have your tubes tied and it can be easily reversed if you change your mind. Good luck!

  • COCONUT OIL!! I swear by it, my daughter has dermatitis and 1 teaspoon of pure coconut oil a day onto her scalp you will truly notice a difference. I’ve tried so many products from doctors, over the counter, natural etc but seriously try coconut oil it’s amazing!

  • Vasectomy if you want it, but i have a mirena device in me, i think it the best short term solution till you are 100 percent sure , the other you to undo causes you heart ache and hope. It last 5 years so give it A go till you man will agree to have the operation. I gather its the easier to recover from than a female going through early menapause with the op you need.
