Hello!

I have had my third and last baby 9 months ago and am at the final stage of loosing the last 5 kg, I have a pretty good figure, until my shirt is off haha. I just need to know the best way to tone up that flab and loose the little belly fat that is there. Any recommendations on which exercises and diets? Thanks

  • Exercise and a relatively clean diet! I lost 20kgs after baby #1 and now I’ve nearly put it all back on from baby #2

  • Oh dear, sorry to say it’s probably there for life. I’ve been told the only way to lose belly fat is by general diet and exercise. Of course, there are belly toners, for the muscles. But no guarantee they will shift that belly fat. MoMs has an abdominal workout on here

  • first off its its loose skin you cant really do much about it, skin only has so much elasticity so if its not shrinking back you need to see a doctor about surgery options if it is fat then cardio lots and lots of cardio but DO NOT forget the weights you need to do both to get results. and to tone up the muscles core workouts planking, crunches ect.

  • Try sit ups and crunches!

  • sit ups are the best for tummy toning

  • If it’s just skin that you have, you may have lost your baby weight to fast and the skin hasn’t had the time to unstretch itself. It may have lost some of it’s elasticity.

  • Leg raises are great for the lower belly pooch

  • there are some good comments here

  • My brother who is a personal trainer said lay on your back with your hands under your bum, raise your feet off the floor and then raise each leg never letting your feet touch the ground. This tightens up the lower belly the little pouch.

  • Sit ups work…. Or google best ways?

  • Some good advice there below.

  • join a gym or exercise class.

  • A personal trainer might be a good idea to see you through the final stage

  • Slow and steady! Lots of massage with a lovely vitamin E cream

  • Work with a personal trainer
