Hello!

I recently received an asian tea set and I would love to actually use it but have no idea what to put in it! Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Do you know what to use in an Asian style tea set?

  • I’m assuming you received a ceramic teapot . All you need to do is buy some loose leaves and put some in the pot . Pour in the hot water and cover for a few minutes to let is infuse to allow the flavour to come out . The teapot should have some little holes near the spout to allow the loose leaves to get trapped so when it pours , only tea will come out and not the leaves.
You can use it for any tea that has loose leaves , very handy .

  • Really interesting reading the comments on this!

  • you can use any tea in it. But if you want to do their traditional one you need to know what country is it from?

  • I would use green tea.

  • Try some new tea’s from your local store there are so many to try. I love the licorice tea. The aroma is amazing.

  • oolong tea, crysanthemum, herbal tea
