  • usually there is a reason I can’t sleep like a husband that snores, i get frustrated and that’s it i am up for the rest of the night

  • A glass of milk and maybe a chocolate biscuit!!!

  • Don’t go on your phone or tablet. I find that wakes me up more. Usually I start cleaning. Wears me out so I go back to sleep and I wake up to a clean house

  • I recently discovered that if I play one of my favourite CDs not too loudly I often fall asleep before it finishes.

  • lol i lay there until i go back to sleep. i sleep easily though and my man hates it because he is insomniac so i am snoring away and he is awake. there are natural pills to induce sleep. get them over the counter at the pharmacist

  • Usually I get up and start doing something cleaning, watching tv online shopping and eventually I get tired again and can sleep. I can’t just lay in bed as it drives me insane.

  • I lie there and try and picture peaceful settings (a beach, or a meadow) – it may take 15 minutes or so, but before I know it I’ve drifted off to sleep again.

  • I only wAKE IF THE KIDS NEED ME OR NEED TO PEE, OTHERWISE I SLEEP ALL NIGHT

  • Sometimes I try and plan my next day or I try to express myself by writing my feelings down or do something about what’s bothering me wether it be clean something that I keep putting off or plan something to do with my kids :)

  • I have the same problem and when it happens I need to assess if I’m waking cause I’m thinking about something or just out of habit. If my mind just keeps thinking I find I need to read or distract myself so I can go back to sleep without worrying about whatever I was thinking about. If I’m waking out of habit, I find it best to not open my eyes to check the time but instead just lay quietly and I drift off. After a few nights, my waking stops and I can sleep through. Good luck!

  • I read, or play solitaire on my phone, otherwise, I lay there worrying!

  • I read. Generally it helps falling back to sleep.
