Originally yes, but with time I grew to love my little boy growing inside me. Of course he is my first, and I might feel different if had two-three boys already
Our baby was a surprise gender.
We were just over the moon that we were finally having a baby (after years and months of trying), so the gender was never a worry for us.
My partner would like a boy to keep the family name going, but we would both be so happy with another girl.
Gender disappointment is a real thing, but people need to remember that they have been gifted with a baby, and the most important thing is that they are happy and healthy.
I have one child, a girl, and would have been happy with a girl or boy. The sex didn’t matter to me as long as the baby was healthy. I know that sounds cliche but it’s how I feel. I’m so grateful to have a healthy child.
That’s not a great attitude to have. I was just thankful and happy I could have babies. I didn’t find out the sex of any of my babies until they were born and I was ecstatic at every birth. Their sex wasn’t an issue for me
