Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good shampoo/conditioner that combats brassy tones from blonde foils please. What are the best products for blonde hair with brassy tones?

  • Love the aveda brand products.

  • Purple shampoos will help to rid the brassiness from blondes

  • Your hairdresser will have the best suggestions. Failing that, as products from the hairdresser can be over priced, there are some in the supermarket and they’re generally labelled for particular use

  • Fanola shampoo was my go to but I started using goldwell 60 second treatment for blondes and highlights it’s amazing tones and a treatment

  • I’m currently trying a sulfate free shampoo to clear the built up gunk of years of shampoo and conditioner use

  • Matrix have a really good range for blondes :)

  • my hairdresser said, you only need to use the purple wash once or twice a week max. and then to use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner. if your hair is still brassy maybe your hair hasn’t been toned properly

  • there are some good comments here

  • clear shampoo works well. .

  • Argan oil I always use and I think it’s great

  • see a hair products specialist store for advice. It’s a problem blondes have when using some products so you need to tell them what you have used that has caused it otherwise you may get a further reaction.

  • Go ask a hairdresser…. Professionals ;)

  • Some good advice there below.

  • Your hairdresser should be able to recommend one but you could also ask at places like Priceline as they have a good range to choose from
