What did you want to be when you grew up? Did you end up being what you wanted to be? I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher and ended up being a Medical Receptionist.

  • i wanted to be a doctor until i saw my sister get a cut so then not so much lol. i became a hairdresser.

  • my mum said I used to always play schools and wanted to be a teacher – I did want to be a dancer but at 5 foot tall and limited flexibility that went out the window during the teenage years. I am now studying by distance to become a teacher

  • I wanted to be a nurse like my mother. I did everything I was suppose to to make it happened but never took in consideration that not having a sense of smell would be a problem. So young and innocent of things. SAHM now who sells craft items to others.

  • I wanted to be a musician, but never made it do to the fact of not enough support. Am now a SAHM studying a Diploma of Beauty Therapy.

  • I wanted to be a dental assistant which required leaving in Year 10, but my parents wanted me to go to Year 12. I never did enjoy those last two years of school and every time I go to the dentist and watch the assistants I always wonder “what if?”.
