Hello!

Eating well during pregnancy is so important but did you take any special care of nutrition before you got pregnant? Is folic acid supplement still recommended for 3 months before you try to conceive?

  • Yes! definitely the folic acid but you may want to take a pregnancy multivitamin ( with folic acid) instead, to ensure you are getting everything you need. Otherwise just a good balanced diet, lots of fresh fruit and vege.

  • Basically, I made sure I was eating a balanced diet, cut down on alcohol, and yes, started taking a folic acid supplement.

  • I took a daily vitamin supplement as well as trying to eat as healthy as possible.

  • I ate pretty well before falling pregnant, so I didn’t worry too much about that. I did keep an extra eye on what I ate tho. No supplements
