  • I think it’s important to get kids in the pool early to be comfortable with water and help learn some basic water safety – Australia is surrounded by water after all.

  • I think if you have a pool it’d good for them to have water safety, I personally did the free until 6 month lessons and am waiting until my baby is a little older as I can’t justify $20 per group lesson.

  • I think baby and toddler swimming is a good thing, even to decrease water fear and teach them basic water safety skills

  • Even if your child does not learn to swim until a later age, swimming lessons are still important for getting children confident in the water.

  • Thank you for all your answers, I’ve taken them onboard. Glad there’s people out there who will go the extra step to leave a comment. Your words are very helpful. I hope at some stage I can be a help in return if you have any questions. Thank you!

  • Yes definitely l am all for it,the younger the better!

  • I think they’re a great idea. The earlier they learn to swim the better off they’ll be. Sone places offer baby swimming lessons too. There are too many child drownings every year that could be avoided

  • I think swimming lessons are very important. Not only to learn to swim of course, but it also gives our daughter confidence. She loves it!
