Hello!

What is a good brand for an exercise bike? Do they come with a good warranty?

  • I have a Dunlop exercise bike and it is still going strong after 20+ years.

  • I think all store bought bikes come with some sort of warranty and you’re covered by the ACCC statutes. If you don’t want to spend much, keep your eyes out on gumtree. There is always exercise equipment for sale in the new year!

  • not sure what the brand is but i bought mine from big w for like $100 and it is great! going onto three years now and not a problem! i had to tighten up the screws for the handle bar but other than that, it has been fine.

  • Thanks robyn_smithwick for the feedback. Sounds like you got a bargain!

  • It really comes down to how much you want to pay and what you actually want out of it. I think you are best to get out and try as many as you can and work out your budget before committing

  • Mine is an AP SPORTS 200. I bought it 2nd hand and it does the job. I paid $ 80 for it.

  • A basic bike with no frills is what I would like to use for indoor cycling.

  • With exercise bikes, it really is a matter of you get what you pay for. Take a good look and decide what features you really want/need and also try first in-store.

  • Best thing to do is get out and have a look. Or google sone and look online. I prefer to get on and try them out. Most new products come with a warranty and some stores offer extended warranties for extra cash of course
