  • Winter is a good time for making garden more bushfire safe, especially if you live on a block. Clearing branches, snipping back vegetation, tidying up the yard, etc.

  • Well, I will have to get into the Garden shop or Bunnings and get myself some more plants for winter and it won’t be long and spring will come upon us too. Seasons go pretty quickly these days.

  • I like to plant peas in winter. I’m fond of shelling peas, and my kids love snow peas. They’ll eat them straight off the vine.

  • Nothing at the moment, im still trying to tame our overgrown garden.

  • Off to the garden centre for extra inspiration.

  • Cabbage, lettuce, peas, beans, spinach & herbs are going in my garden at the moment!

  • We need to look at a new mini greenhouse too.
Also need to create some new themed garden areas.

  • I’m trying out mini greenhouses so I can grow flowers and veggies. I’m not sure yet what I’ll be getting, but for the main garden I’ll be weeding (stinging nettles are fun…) and planting shrubberies along the fence to gain height and make it attractive. I’m also slowly filling the house with plants inside!
