Hello!

I would love to know what everyone thinks is the best product to use to clean your shower.

  • I dilute white vinegar and eucalyptus oil together in a spray bottle. Then dip an old tooth brush in bicarb of soda, spray the surface and scrub

  • I spray bleach on tiles and glass, wait ten minutes and then rinse off.

  • Exit mould and jif make my shower clean!

  • My cleaner just told me to use Jif cream, use a scourer, then wonder and a microfibre cloth. I use Windows cleaner on the outside of the shower with microfibre cloth.

  • bleach is what I use, micropore clothes, hard scrubbing

  • white vinegar is good for general cleaning, but I also use aromatherapy oils for my cleaning since hosting an amazing scents party.

  • I have always been a fan of shower power! It always worked well but the smell wa shard to deal with. I have recently started using bicarb and vinegar and I love it! I also use an enviro cloth every couple of days to wipe out the shower and screen, just after I finish my shower. I have a norwex cloth which I love and I also found a great ecloth from Howard’s storage world…the concept behind these is chemical free cleaning. My bathroom is cleaner than ever.

  • Agree with the bicarb & vinegar approach, we do this once a week just before the first shower and the tiles are smooth and clean. For the glass, we use a soft-edged glass wiper (you can buy them cheaply) to wipe off the water after the last shower of the morning. It keeps the glass looking clean and makes it easier to clean with whatever product you use.

  • I use Sharon Lush’s oil of cloves recipe to get kill the mould, wipe it off, then use a mild bleach to get rid of any stains. Then Jiffy or any other cleaner you like to make the tiles sparkle again.

  • Bicarb and vinegar for nearly every cleaning job in this household!

  • I use Jiff creme cleanser and a bit of elbow grease. I’ve tried shower products and bleaches etc but I find nothing cleans like a good scrub with Jiff

  • My mum always swears by white vinegar and bi-carb! Mix it to a past and scrub it on anything to get it clean and white. You can add a couple of drops of lemon juice too to help disinfect and cut through the vinegar smell. I have also recently discovered Norwex. They make a chemical free cleaning powder that is great on all my tiles, counter tops and cupboards, from the kitchen to the bathroom.

  • First I spray Exit Mould if needed and leave it to do its job for about 15min to half hour. I then use the shower wipes and a little Gumption (its like a thick paste) on the shower wipes and scrub the walls and glass. Rinse with hot water and it’s sparkle clean!
