I know we are all so busy as mums, so I was curious to see what your daily routine like?

  • Mine really depends on what’s on that day, but I tend to spend mornings doing as much housework as I can.


  • Helpful suggestions. I’m trying to get a routine happening.


  • Full on and same but different daily. School lunches, kids to school and head to work before about 9am is about the only thing that is the same


  • broad question, very unproductive, no routine really, takes ages to get ready, usually go out every day.
    night time, dinner, shower and bed


  • 6am – get up, shower, hair (sometimes makeup) and get dressed.
    6.20am – get 2 year old up and dressed
    6.30am- have my breakfast and prepare breaky for 2yo
    6.45- get 6 & 8yo’s out of bed, they get dressed and make their beds
    7-8am 6 & 8 yo have breakfast, brush teeth and hair, pack school bags and ask for jobs, then we dance, hug and have free time.
    8am – in the car to go to school, kids read readers aloud or listen to multiplication cd
    8.25-9am- get to school, help with reading and cutting up fruit.
    9-10am- groceries and errands eg petrol, butcher, post office
    10-11.30 – housework, check out MOM website, play with 2yo and give him lunch
    11.30 – put 2yo to bed, hang out washing, unstack dishwasher, prepare dinner, ironing
    1.30pm – visit a friend or go for a walk with the pram
    3pm- arrive at school to collect big kids
    3-5pm- homework, after school sports (tennis, karate)
    5.30- bath
    6pm – dinner
    6.30pm- story time and put kids to bed
    7pm – boxing for my partner 2 nights a week or pilates for me the other two nights
    8pm- relaxing watching tv, facebook, chatting to partner
    9pm – dishes and school lunches (mostly done by partner
    10.30- bed time


  • I make all sandwiches with super fresh bakery bread on Sunday and freeze it and lunches are made for the week so I don’t have to stress on the school run kids bed time is 7 pm bathtime and dinner by 5:30


  • Coffee, Coffee and then everything thing else follows.


  • Up at 7am, make breakfast..have showers and baths and try to get all the house work done by 10am. Then it’s pretty much repeat all day lol.


  • Monday – drop kids at day care, uni til 1.30, work til 10.
    Tuesday – housework and play with kids til 3. Pick up teen and take to ballet, cook dinner, uni til 7.30, pick up teen from ballet.
    Wednesday – Toddler ballet, uni class which the 2 toddlers come to as well, work 4.30 – 10.
    Thursday – drop kids at day care, uni til 12.30, work til 10.
    Friday – housework and play with kids til 1.30, online uni quiz til 2.30, work 4.30 -10.
    Saturday – family day and housework catch up
    Sunday – study at uni 10am – 5pm. Sit on couch exhausted til bed time and start again!!!!


  • Wake between 5-6 to breastfeed baby, 7 get the next three aged up kids ready for school , have a two minute shower and remind myself to wash hair next shower, load kids in car and go to school, realise son forgot back , head home and try again. 9 get started on housework, take tablets, daydream about a more efficient household, take washing to mums as machine died, feed baby , snuggle baby, carry baby while vacuuming. Head home and more cleaning. Get some sewing done. Feed baby, remembere i forgot breaky and have lunch, snuggle and play with baby , change my clothes after baby poos on me. Take older two daughters wherever they need to go , pick up kids at school, get them out of uniforms and into homework while i feed baby and organise dinner, remind kids about uniforms and make a start on dinner, while dinners simmering go bath baby, serve dinner , eat out of bowl with one hand while feeding baby,remind kids about brushing teeth and tuck baby into bed, spend time with other kids, 8 tuck in other kids, try sneak to bed early and get woken by teen in her phone , tell teen to get off phone and try sleep again, have restless night


  • i dont have too much of a routine
    ours is usually something like
    wake up
    breakfast
    change nappy
    play
    lunch
    sleep 1-3/4
    play,
    shower
    dinner
    bed


  • MY ROUTINE—-i get up, do breakfast, get kids ready, vac, laundry, dishes, quick clean, school, errands, home, lunch, tidy, laundry fold, dinner,clean, baths, kids bed, tv and net, bed

    weekends are pretty busy
