  • Holding a bowl of cereal and my hand just tipped it upside down straight into my lap on the recliner.

  • Making my husband and I breakfast one morning and realising that I had put the expressed breast milk in my hubby’s cereal by mistake. I was so tired and didn’t want to waste the breast milk or his cereal so I added extra muesli to it and dished it up without saying a thing. He started eating it and commented that it tasted sweeter than usual and I casually said that I must have put a bit too much muesli in it by mistake. He ate it all without realising.

  • I put my remote in the fridge and then yelled at my husband for losing it lol

  • Left work in the dark and rain, found my car and tried for 20mins to get into my car but the button on my key did not work and I discovered there was no keyhole for me to manually open the door. Hadnt had the car long. Called hubby who got in his car to come help me. I noticed someone leave a business and watch me suspiciously, they actually sat in their car watching me with their engine running and headlights on. I wondered why they didn’t ask me if I was ok. I looked up the street and glanced at a car (which stood out all of a sudden) diifferent model but same colour as the one I’d been trying to get into….whoops! There’s my car

  • lol yeah it is funny where we put things while we are zombies lol

  • I ran out of baby’s nappies, took the eldest one to school on the bus, ans on the way home got off at the shops and got another packet. The packet that had been bought yesterday were taken in from the car the night before (not by me) and of all the stupid places was put on top of the stove. Last place one would think to look, and I certainly didn’t.

  • Love the story about looking for the mobile phone while talking on it, been there done that, lol.

  • yeah i had lost my sunnies and was looking for them and then hubby told me they were on my head. One time he was looking in the fridge for something and asked me if we had run out of the item but i could see it literally in front of his face lol so this phenomena happens to sleep deprived daddys as well

  • I made toast one day and I put the toaster away in the fridge and I put my toast, butter and vegemite in the cupboard and spent the 30 minutes looking for my toast everywhere

  • LOL these stories are funny! I seriously think that since having my 3rd my whole existence is in crazy baby brain mode!

  • lol these posts are a great laugh….thanks for sharing your stories ladies

  • haha Speaker of drawer with rubbish bags, I did something similar. I had crumpets one morning and packed the rest in a freezer bag so they would be sealed until my husband woke up to have his. He woke up a little while later and I couldn’t remember where I had put them. We searched all through the kitchen and even peeked in the bin. Then we found that I had put them in a freezer bag and left them in the drawer with the bags.

  • I was talking to my friend ‘on my mobile phone’. Then thinking in my head I must ‘find my mobile phone’. So whilst we were chatting I was turning out my handbag and looked on the lounge throwing the cushions off the lounge checked the powder-room in case I left it on the hand basin. I was going nuts quietly. My friend asked what I was doing? I told her I was looking for my mobile… she said “the one you are talking on now to me..?” OMG! We laughed and laughed! Made her day I did!!

  • Probably more scary than funny; I was cooking with a friend and my baby brain took a pan of hot oil and went to the sink and turned cold water on and……yep…mini explosion! My friend reacted quickly and intervened! When I was asked “why did you do that?” I shrugged and simply pointed to my tummy! ;) We laugh about it now! Whenever I cook now I do get reminded of “do you remember the time?” hmm! sure do! :)

  • I had lost my glasses & was loosing my mind, so I decided to make a cuppa & calm down. I went to the fridge to get the milk & there was the toast that I had made (& lost) earlier & my chapstick! For months after my son was born we kept finding random things in strange places. PS my husband pointed out that my glasses were on my face! lol
