There are so many recipes on here with coconut flour, coconut oil, coconut water… is this a new fad, paleo inspired or recent discovery of the benefits of coconut? And how is it better than other products available? TIA

  • maybe the poster just had a big bag to use up lol

  • Coconut Flour is an alternative for those who are gluten intolerant or worse still have Coelic Disease which means no wheat, rye, or barley in cooking….or food which has come into contact with any of them.

  • It seems to be popular at the moment in recipes and in products.
