Forum What’s your parenting high and low that you have encountered so far?

My parenting high was when my son met his baby sister for the first time. That’s when I knew my family was complete.
My low was when my daughter was hospitalised with Bronchiolitis. Seeing that tiny little girl struggling to breathe was terrifying. I felt so helpless not being able to do anything.
What Highs & Lows have you encountered?

  • The birth of our children is certainly a high ! First thing what comes to mind when I think about lows is my 10yr old foster daughter and the many incidents we have had resulting in involvement of child protection several times and once with an allegation against me for over a year
