  • Family immediately and everyone else after the first trimester.

  • Personally I would tell my friends at about three months. This is on reflection as I did tell everyone as soon as I knew, but unfortunatly and because of an accident lost the baby, I was not as far on as you are but friends who got pregnant felt afraid to tell me as they thought it would upset me. I lready had one son when this occured but it took me nearly seven years to concieve again. I love my sons and it is really up to you and hubby conratulations and best wishes

  • i’d wait until 12 weeks :)

  • I told everyone as soon as I found out. Which was 3 weeks for the first one and 4 months for baby number 2. My son and his partner are expecting and they decided to wait til the 12 week mark to tell most people (grandparents, mounts and uncles were told earlier) The reason behind this is the ‘danger’ period is over then.

  • We told our parents a few days after we found out and the rest of our friends and family after the 12 week scan.

  • Im planning on telling my close family at 12 weeks.
I want to hold off telling others as long as possible as I lost my first child.

  • I we told family at 12 weeks & close friends a little later but my FB announcement was a post birth pic!

  • We told our parents soon after we found out. Our siblings after the first scan/appt at around 8 weeks, and then everyone else after the next scan/check up at 12 weeks. We felt if anything were to happen, we’d want the support of our parents.

  • with our 7 yo we told parents straight away but everyone else after the first trimester as it was safer after that time.

  • We tolf family at the 12 weeks mark. Just because it is a little bit safer past this point.

  • We ended up telling everyone at 12 weeks and 2 dys:)

  • Similar to you – parents and sisters early, others after 12 weeks. No rush!

  • generally the first 12 weeks is the most likely time for issues to occur – after this time I think it would be safe to tell others but only if you want to and feel comfortable to. don’t feel obligated to tell everyone too early.

  • 12 weeks. You’re considered out of the ‘danger’ period then, PLUS you will have your ultrasound pic to flash around at the announcement!

  • I told everyone straight away and I found out I was pregnant when I was 3 weeks along, so looking back it was a little silly as it was so early in my pregnancy but I was just so excited and wanted to shout it from the roof top, which I almost did……..
