Hello!

I have 7 month old in rear facing car seat. When should I turn the seat around?

  • When they are tall enough for their shoulders to rwach the indicated mark on the seat.

  • I was told anytime from six months on.

  • Keep it rear facing as long as possible. If baby is comfortable and within recommended height / weight restrictions then it is safer to keep rear facing

  • yeah the longer they are laying down, the safer they are in that position.

  • We did it about 6 months, we were told to do it then so we did. Just because they want to see outwards and look around.

  • Both my children were turned around at 6 months. They were both horrible car travellers, and as soon as they were front facing, could see us, watch dvds etc, they became a lot happier. The recommendations may show that its safer rear facing for as long as possible, but for me, it was safer for them to be front facing, and not screaming. I was worried I was going to get distracted and have an accident. Just do what you think is best for you!

  • I mean whats best tor your peace of mind n bub’s temperament. Some kids hate being rear facing

  • Law says 6 month but research shows that the longer you wait, the better. Really you just do whats best for bub
