  • As said before, some ingredients can irritate sensitive skin. We only use organic products on our skin as we all have sensitive skin and buy them from our local health food shop.

  • I would say she’s possibly having a reaction to something in these products. Have you tried a range of different brands? If she’s using them as an acne treatment, it could be one of those that makes things worse before they get better. A lot of products suggest a minimum of 8 weeks use to see a good outcome

  • My daughter has oily skin and will break out more if she does not use oil free products that will cause her to have more oils in her skin . I would check with her to see what skin type she has first , eg oily or combination and then see if you can get products suited to her skin . I enjoy browsing at priceline as they may have testers at the shelves and also there are heaps to choose from . Best to start at the basics such as a good cleanser and moisturiser and go from there. If it gets worse and clearly you see an ongoing problem , maybe take her to a GP to check her general health .

  • What kind of skincare product did she use, where on her body did she use it (face, body or else) and what a breakout does she have ?
I’ve had many allergic reactions of hair- and skincare products on my scalp, face, neck and hands and use now only creams what I make myself of unrefined shea butter, coconut oil and olive oil and use baking soda for washing hair.

  • Maybe she is having a reaction to the product I would stop using it and try with a different brand and see if that helps
