They’re rather noisy, which is disturbing when you use it during the night

Any form of electric heating will chew the power. These machines are very effective at heating and cooling. And I love the fact there’s no blades to chop at little fingers

Yes good question. I have seen these running in the shops but don’t know anyone who has one. They are expensive. I looked up many reviews they say it’s NOISY and does NOT heat up a room maybe a small baby’s room. One review said ” Seems the ambience and chatter in the shop made it appear not that noisy. But when I got it home and placed a a room it was like a jet engine!” Took it straight back and got a full refund. Way too noisy!
