A mum has revealed that she edits photos of her 11-month-old baby to make her look ‘more professional’ on Instagram.

Danielle Wall, from the UK, uses apps to erase ‘milk spots, snot and redness’ from her adorable daughter, Isla Rose’s, face.

“I’ll take photos of her and edit them,” 20-year-old Danielle told The Sun.

“I wouldn’t say I’m improving her appearance as such, just making her look more professional for companies.”

“She is very photogenic. Removing her minor flaws is just like altering the lighting – it makes companies happy because the photographs looks professional, rather than as if they were taken on a mobile.”

Danielle said companies gift her free clothes and she posts pictures of Isla Rose on Instagram to her 1200+ followers.

However, she claims the pictures have to be as professional as possible and her daughter ‘can’t be red and snotty’ in them.

The mum admitted that she’s put ‘sparkly’ nail polish on the tot and from next year she plans to let her start wearing makeup, like lipgloss and powder.

Danielle said she hopes one day Isla Rose will become a model and revealed she’s already enrolled her in beauty pageants.

She knows some people will say she what she is doing is wrong, but has not had any obvious abuse.

“No one has objected to my face, but I am certain a lot of people think it,” she said.

“But she enjoys it. And if she wants to stop when she is old enough she can at any time. I would never force her into anything.”

  • I think it’s disgraceful that this mother edits her baby’s photos just clean the milk spots and clean the snot off your babies face & may be put a bit of moisture on her baby’s face to get rid of the red spot’s . l could image what this poor baby really looks like Dirty clothes Dry red face full of snot l think she should put her camera down and care for her baby that is Beautiful anyway & try to STOP selling her baby with Fake photos . But’s that just my opinion anyway

  • That makes me uncomfortable. I don’t understand the need for it.

  • I would never have done this myself with my children. Each to their own … but I hope the little love doesn’t grow up thinking she has to look perfect .. that will cause all sorts of trouble for her

    • Children and adults alike are ‘perfect’ just the way they are minus photo shop techniques.

  • Why? Why? Why? I understand getting rid of stains and spots she is making a profit by doing this but makeup? Seriously? Nail polish in a baby is just crazy in my opinion along with makeup

  • To be honest, I adjust exposure, saturation etc as well what is pretty much the same.
She has a gorgeous baby, that doesn’t need make up in my opinion, but that’s up to her.

  • I see nothing wrong with this…. it’s the way of the world.

    • That’s why this world is so Crazy with people like you agreeing that’s there is nothing wrong with what this mother is doing this poor kid will probably grow up with a BAD complex that she has to be perfect before she goes anywhere

  • What some see as flaws I see as raw and honest beauty. I always prefer family photos and all photos that are natural. I have never ever photo shopped a photo and never will. I actually think photos are more relatable when they are natural and not ‘polished’.

  • Why is this an issue? Seriously.. sometimes lighting can be bad on phones and a little touch up is just making the photo that much better.

  • It doesn’t bother me what she does with the photos and in her instance I can understand why, but I wouldn’t do it for my baby. I think it’s all part of him and how he looks. I dont want him to look what others would call perfect, I think he is perfect just as he is! I don’t agree however with putting make up on her. She is way too young, let her be a baby!

  • This strikes me as slightly exploitative, but the photo altering is fairly harmless.
