Mum gives birth without PAINKILLERS to a whopper bundle of joy

Russian mum gives birth to a baby weighing 13lbs 14oz, almost twice the size of an average newborn.

The 42-year-old – who already has four kids – delivered the 6.3kg baby without any painkillers or medical assistance in the small town of Dagestankiye Ogni in south-west Russia, according to Daily Mail.

It is unclear if the woman, who is now recovering in hospital, had any conditions that can cause excessively large babies, such as poorly managed diabetes.

The unnamed baby is said to be suffering from hearing problems. Doctors also fear the infant may have health problems in the future.

WOW! Super mum. My biggest bub was 8lb 8oz and that was enough for me.

Ah no….just no.
My first was overdue by 2 weeks and was 7lb 7oz
2nd was 2 weeks early and was 7lb 6oz
3rd was a week early and was 7lb 5oz

They became 1oz lighter each time but they each came faster and faster….1st was 7hours, 2nd 2.5hrs and the 3rd was 45mins…only just made it to the hospital

I wonder if she had a short labour. They say the more babies you have the shorter the time in labour. Living in a small town she may have been a long distance from a hosptial. I have no knowledge of distances involved.

That’s a huge baby. How sad that the baby already has health problems though.
My daughter was 3 kilos 324 grams.

My last bub was nearly 8 ponds and no drugs. My analgesia was singing nursery rhymes! lol. This was my choice because when I WAS HAVING MT THIRD BUB THEY GAVE ME TOO MANY DRUGS TOO close to each other and of course it affected my beautiful baby. She is ok now thankfully.

My daughter was nearly 9 pounds and I delivered her without any pain relief. My son was smaller and an undiagnosed breech so I had gas and pethidine with him
