Nicole “Snooki’ Polizzi shared a photo of herself bottle feeding her newborn son, Angelo, while enjoying a glass of red wine.

As Snooki pointed out in her caption, she’s a busy mum of three now, so she totally deserves a drink if she wants.

She shared the image captioned, ““What’s mom life like with 2 kids and a newborn?” THIS. #MomJuice #ImAGoodMomISwear”

But not everyone agreed.

“You not suppose to drink alcohol if you breastfeeding your baby,” one fan wrote.

Another said, “I’m reporting you to CPS TODAY hope they take your kids and give them to someone more responsible.”

“This is the most ignorant picture I’ve ever come across!!! Your not getting the mom of the year award!!!” said another.

“Why do people strive to have children, then complain about the time an effort it takes? She has to have wine to cope? Why have them, if you can’t “cope?” Poor little girl in the picture needs to have her hair combed”, wrote another.

Another wrote, “Girl, you need rehab! Have you thought what would happen if you accidentally spill that wine on your baby’s face? Or if you drop him trying to hold him and the wine? I mean there are so many wrong things in this pic that I really don’t get why so many people think it’s funny. I’m sure you are a great mom but alcohol doesn’t let you use your judgement. I think putting your baby’s health at risk (even when you think it is minimal) is not worth it. I know MTV needs you to continue drinking and that’s fine but you should keep your kids away from it, your newborn especially. Some common sense darling.”

  • She was bottle feeding her baby, not breastfeeding it so no alcohol was passing through to the baby.

  • If it’s just a shot of her having a relax after a hard day and winding down once in a blue moon down I think it’s ok! but if it projects to people to drink and normalises it while feeding your baby is probably not the greatest idea. As parents it can be rough or hard and once in a blue moon it’s okay to relax and maybe do something like that but to do that often I don’t believe is a good idea at all.

  • I’d probably enjoy the wine more AFTER feeding baby, but if she’d rather drink it now… Her business.

  • I would not have put the photo up

  • I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a wine but the photo done like that? Obviously after a reaction.

  • She is cradling the baby securely, which is the main thing I see in the photo – I don’t have a problem with this.

  • I thought you could have a small amount of wine while breastfeeding? And I have to say to all those perfect mums out there who don’t struggle in the slightest with 3 kids, how do you do it? Just because you find it hard, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have the kids and doesn’t mean you’re not a good mum! What even?
And that last comment about maybe spilling it… lol So pretty much don’t do anything while holding you’re baby incase something might happen? Better not stand up with him! Might drop him!

  • It isn’t something I would do but I do have to give her points for cradling her baby while bottle feeding him – many parents just prop the bottle and baby in it’s pram or cot when then bottle feed.

  • It’s a tasteless photo from a tasteless lady who cares though
