Will need to try it with the kids.

  • It appears to have worked – so well done!

  • Our kids get very upset if we give medicine to only one – this would make it worse!

  • Not sure how long this would work, medicine still tastes the same after all, hiding it in a juice carton isn’t going to make much difference.

  • Haha this is brilliant

  • I can still see kids getting their first taste of the medicine, after expecting juice, and spitting it out regardless. Medicine is just not palatable to some kids

  • In my day I was told ‘just take your medicine’. With my children I told them that this medicine would help whatever ailment they had and they would get worse if they didn’t take it.
Do not understand why you have to hide medicine – if a child is ill tell them this will help. Be honest for heavens sake.

  • What an ingenious idea. As Mums’ we need to be very creative at times.

  • clever idea but wouldn’t work on my son who hates juice.

  • I can’t see this working more than once. Besides, I think pain medication is thoroughly overused anyway.

  • I’ve seen parents do similar things before. Cleaver!

  • Some baby/toddlers medication are cherry flavoured. No wonder they don’t like it. I accidentally got a couple of drops of one of them and licked it off. It tasted revolting. One of the photos the baby doesn’t looked impressed. They will have issues if the baby refuses the bottle for feeds

  • Haha good work. May put them off fruit boxes for life though!

  • But wouldn’t the child recognize it’s not juice? The taste must be quite different. Amazing!
