Not sure if hypno therapy is to blame either as it was weeks prior the incident
She could have arrived in a dark and desperate place very quickly indeed. It sounds she was not totally in balance at least.
My thoughts go out to the husband and children, to deal with the suicide of a loved one is so very hard.

Its a tragedy and really just shows the extent people feel they need to hide mental health problems.
