Pink's Husband Has a Dig at the 'Parent Police' in Latest Photo

Pink’s husband shared a snap he knew might upset the “parent police” so he got in first to shut them down.

When Carey posted on Friday a photo of him and Jameson on a jet ski during a family vacation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he shut down critical commenters before they jumped on his back.

“Don’t worry parent police, he is safe and I put him right back in his bubble when we were done,” Hart, a former motocross star, captioned the photo.

He also wrote that they were idling, and it was just a short ride since his son wasn’t too stoked about getting splashed.

The two were both wearing life vests, and Jameson was donning a sun hat.

Jameson and I idling around yesterday in ft. Lauderdale. Short ride since he was getting splashed and not to stoked. Don’t worry parent police, he is safe and I put him right back in his bubble when we were done.

It is not the first time the family have been judged over their choices.

Some people love to pick others apart. I think its a sign of how worried they are about their own parenting skills so if they drag others down they feel it makes them look better.

People will jump on the outrage wagon about anything these days. Good on them for having a fun time as a family. It’s a shame everyone has to preempt the backlash that they know would come from harmless photos.

It’s sad that any such things should fear a backlash. As a parent you should be able to decide what is safe for your child and people need to remember that photographs don’t always show the full context of what is actually happening.

I love how he pre-empted the backlash. Sad that he knew it would be coming. It was a moment he wanted to share with his son in a safe and loving environment.

Look, sometimes they do things I think are unsafe. But I’m not there, and the parents who are right there and in the moment are usually the best people to determine what’s safe.

Why would you even post it if you know you’re going to cop criticism? Just save it for the family album and maybe respect your children’s privacy a bit. They’re beginning to quite like the attention I think.
