The Police thanked the media and community for their assistance so I hope that means the toddler was re-united with his family.
Is the toddler enough to reach the locks on the doors, open them and let himself out? If so, his parents may not have realised he can. When I moved to a later built house I discovered the door handles were lower. The children could reach the new ones but not the old ones. He may have woken up after his parents went to bed and them not heard him.

I am glad the parents were found so quickly!

The report says he must have been reunited with his parents……so you don’t know if he actually was or not
